Considered one of the most versatile music aficionados to come out of Hawaii, Joseph Soul has been commanding crowds for well over 15 years. Highly touted as a nightclub DJ, his expertise spans more than the distance between two turntables. With his accomplishments as a producer, engineer, and songwriter widely recognized, it is no surprise that he currently earns a living doing just that.
A seven-time Na Hoku Hanohano award nominee (Hawai’s, Grammy sponsored music awards), Joseph Soul is no stranger to the Hawai`i music scene. With experience penning songs for Nesian N.I.N.E and Dani Waring, producing the smash hits, “Take You Higher” from Positive Motion and “Tell Me” by Tenelle, and mastering Maoli’s 2010 album “Rock Easy”, it should come as no shock that he wrote, produced, engineered, and mixed his first album almost entirely on his own (DJ Audissey – Overdue). He collaborates with both up-and-coming artists, as well as, seasoned veterans and is constantly searching for new talent to help break into the island music scene.
Mia is a comedian, screenwriter, and unapologetic cat lover with a soft spot for solid poop jokes. Originally from New York City, Mia moved to Los Angeles to make funnies full time – bringing her east coast swag and Yankees hat to the west coast comedy scene.
You may recognize half of her face from a McDonalds commercial or, if you have insomnia, a 1-800 Club Love spot she hopes her parents never see. She’s the host of her ridiculous podcast 2 Dumb 2 Tame – an off the wall look at the world through personal anecdotes, interviews, obscure news, and weirdness you can buy on the internet. The podcast has been written up in Splitsider, HuffPost Comedy, and Geek Bomb’s “10 Podcasts You Should Be Listening To.”
Mia makes jokes at The Comedy Store, Flappers Comedy Club, and headlines regularly for the Rebels of Comedy. She’s the winner of Comic Cure’s Holy Hilarity, Glendale Laughs Comedy Festival, and a World Series of Comedy finalist. She also hosts Classy AF Comedy, a monthly show featuring diverse, up and coming comedians.
When she’s not standing up she’s sitting down, tweeting, taking selfies with her purrfect tuxedo cats, or digging around her backpack for candy. She is generally hilarious and has what some people call a “disturbingly expressive face.”
